Four months after they met on June 26th, 2021, while on their trip to Maine, Justin asked Katie to be his girlfriend.

Following their trip to Greece, after a year of being long distance and flying back and forth to each other...Katie officially moved from Georgia to Maryland.

Engaged! Justin surprised Katie by asking her to marry him after she came home from a work trip. She walked into their apartment (with her suitcase in tow) to a pathway of red rose petals leading her into their living room where Justin was waiting for her. They celebrated in Ocean City, Maryland that weekend just the two of them and their dog, Monty. Two weeks later, they celebrated again in Italy.
